On the morning of September 4, the sixth award and funding meeting of Qiyang County Kolier Charity Foundation was held in the conference room of the County Civil Affairs Bureau. Zhou Xinhui, Secretary of the Qiyang County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, Zheng Zengqi, Chairman of the County Political Consultative Conference, Nie Pengju, Chairman of Hunan Kolier Electric Co., Ltd., Nie Baosheng, Chairman of Kolier Charity Foundation, Zhou Zhenlin, Chen Zhenwen, Wen Yingxiong and other county leaders attended the meeting.

The meeting read out the list of awards and subsidized students, rewarded 3 outstanding principals, 9 outstanding junior high school teachers, and 6 outstanding college entrance examination students, subsidized 26 poor students who passed two or more books, and targeted 41 college students. A total of 213000 yuan in bonuses and grants were distributed on the spot. At the meeting, Nie Baosheng, chairman of the Kolier Charity Foundation, made a speech, and representatives of outstanding teachers, outstanding students and subsidized students made speeches respectively.

The Kolier Charity Foundation, initiated by Nie Baosheng and Nie Pengju, is the first charitable foundation established by a local entrepreneur in Qiyang. While devoting itself to the innovation and development of the enterprise for many years, it has always been concerned about supporting the development of Qiyang's education and persisted in carrying out reward and funding activities every year. For six consecutive years, a total of more than 120 million yuan has been donated to students. This year, Nie Baosheng and Nie Pengju continued to expand their love and donated 1 million yuan to the foundation, setting a new benchmark for love donation in Qiyang County.

Zhou Xinhui expressed his gratitude to the charitable foundation for its generous and good deeds. He pointed out that in recent years, the county party committee and county government have always adhered to the concept of giving priority to the development of education, centering on the strategic goal of creating a "famous county for education in Hunan", vigorously increasing investment in education, continuously improving school conditions, optimizing the allocation of educational resources, and strengthening the construction of teaching staff.
