On the morning of January 18, 2018, the Hunan Provincial Work Conference on Accelerating New Industrialization was held in Changsha. Zhang Jianfei, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Governor, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Zhang Jianfei stressed: in 2018, we should conscientiously implement Xi Jinping's thinking on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, especially Xi Jinping's economic thinking on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, always adhere to the new type of industrialization as the first driving force, comprehensively promote the construction of a strong manufacturing province, highlight the emerging industrial chain, and speed up the construction of a modern industrial system with advanced manufacturing as the main body.

The meeting was also recommend by the municipal and state economic and information commissions, enterprise federations, and provincial industry associations, and the Hunan Provincial Outstanding Entrepreneur Review Committee was the final review. It commended 34 outstanding entrepreneurs in Hunan Province in 2017, including Nie Pengju, vice chairman and general manager of the company.
