On 16th May, in Keli Motor Group Co., Ltd., the key work on the positioning accuracy and response speed of the servo system was being carried out in an orderly manner.

The servo system is a precision intelligent drive control system composed of servo motors, encoders, and drivers, which are the core "heart" of various robots and precision devices.

Nie Pengju told the reporter that since the second half year of 2015, Keli Group began to research and develop servo motors. However, the encoder, driver and the other key components supporting the servo motors come from abroad. They are controlled by others in many places and cannot break the monopoly of Japanese and European companies.

In order to break the monopoly of foreign technology, in 2019, he repositioned the direction of R&D and determined to develop the latest generation of high-performance servo systems integrating servo motors, encoders and drivers.

"The biggest challenge in developing a high-performance servo system is building a R&D team." Nie Pengju and the personnel department managed to bring in a group of high-quality R&D personnel from foreign enterprises. In May of last year, the R&D team was formally established and the company invested heavily to build a top laboratory in China.

In order to achieve the goal as soon as possible, under the leadership of Nie Pengju, the R&D team devoted themselves to tackling key problems and worked until 9 p.m. every day. After half year of hard-working, they have successfully developed the latest generation of high-performance servo systems with independent intellectual property rights. The ultra-thin servo motors and drivers of the same power size have reached the international first-class level.

"Based on the post to make contributions, Serving the society to show its responsibility" This is Nie Pengju's view of performing duties as a representative of the National People's Congress. He also made his own "NPC Representative" with his action.

During the epidemic of COVID-19 this year, he launched Keli Motor Group to donate a total of RMB 1,019,800 to Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital and the Leishenshan (Thunder God Mountain) Hospital to help Hubei fight the epidemic. In addition, on the basis of extensive research on mask manufacturing enterprises, he submitted the "Suggestions on Rapidly Increasing the Production Capacity of Masks" through the "Internet + Supervision" platform of the State Council, calling for the introduction of fully automated mask production lines to ensure supply in key epidemic areas and encouraging enterprises to invest in the production of masks across industries.
"I have prepared eight proposals for the upcoming NPC and CPPCC sessions, including increasing support for the industrial robot core parts industry, promoting entrepreneurship, and improving the pension problem of the left-behind elderly in rural areas, etc.” Nie Pengju said, "as a deputy to the National People's Congress, we should actively make suggestions and contribute to the country's economic and social development."
