On January 5th, Mr. Nie Pengju, Chairman of Keli Motor Group Co., Ltd., generously donated RMB100,000 to Yongzhou Qiyang Opera Troupe for the development of Qiyang Opera in his hometown.

  At the donation ceremony, Zheng Anshun, the party secretary and head of the  Yongzhou Qiyang Opera Troupe, gave a brief introduction and report on the current status and future development of Qiyang Opera. On behalf of all the actors and staff, he would like to thank Keli Motor Group for its concern and support for the development of Qiyang Opera, and expressed that he will live up to the high expectations of Mr. Nie Pengju and Keli Motor Group, and do his best to protect and inherit Qiyang Opera, to serve the society and masses. In the ceremony, Chairman Nie Pengju expressed his admiration and gratitude for his hometown, Qiyang Opera and Opera people's persistence and hard work to Qiyang Opera! He hopes that Qiyang Opera workers will not forget their original intentions and move forward, hopes to contribute to the inheritance and development of Qiyang Opera. It is also hoped that all sectors of society will care and support the development of Qiyang Opera.

  Afterwards, the troupe performed three excerpts of Qiyang Opera "Searching the Stamp in the Water Prison", "Forcing Divorce", and "Beat Cherries" for the guests and audience participating in the donation ceremony.
